LG unveils LG K7 and LG K10 mid-range smartphones with premium looks

LG has unveiled a pair of new smartphones, the LG K7 and LG K10, at CES 2016 in Las Vegas. These new devices house decidedly mid-range specs, but what is notable is their stylish looks, which according to LG, belie their relatively low cost. Find out what the new LG K series is all about below.

The LG K7 has curved edges, like Galaxy S6 Edge, and looks pretty premium. The 3G version comes in three color options (the LTE model has just one), and it packs a 5 or 8 MP rear camera, depending on the model.
It's powered by an unspecified quad-core processor running at 1.3 GHz (the 3G model, the LTW version's processor is clocked at 1.1 GHz), so don't expect record-breaking performance. The flipside is that such devices can sometimes offer superior battery life.

The K10 is slightly more powerful than the K7 (the LTE version of the K10 has a 1.2 or 1.3 GHz quadcore processor), and offers a larger battery and, in some models, more RAM.
The two phones are similar in size; the K10 is 3 mm taller and 2 mm wider, with a 0.3-inch larger display. Again, it comes in three color options, and has either a 13 MP or 8 MP rear camera.

Both the LG K10 and K7 arrive running Android Lollipop, and both feature removable batteries and microSD card support. LG states that both devices "look far more expensive and exclusive than they really are".

We spoke to LG employee Raul Lopez at LG's CES booth. He couldn't comment on the phones' prices or release dates, but did hint that the K10 and K7 would be released in co-operation with US carrier Buzz.
We will have more concrete details on both of the devices soon, but for now, head below to see the official specs.

Let us know in the comments what you think of the LG K10 and LG K7.
lg should focus on display n led tv.....k7 and k 10 are going to be a big fail......less specs and high price and ui difficulties......same happening for years.......even lg g4 is not flagship phone just display n camera does not mean it is high level phone
If these phones are considered mid-range, what the hell is considered low end...a Motorola StarTac??
I think something like the 2014 Moto G, but a Nokia could be considered low end.
