Here's how to get Android Marshmallow's new app drawer on Lollipop

With Google I/O 2015 now behind us, we're pleased to see that the much talked-about Android Marshmallow is now a reality. Among its features is a new app drawer, which lets you organize apps to display your favorites at the top, arrange them alphabetically and more. The good news is that you don't need to wait until the new update to try this feature out. Just follow our guide to get Android Marshmallow's app drawer on Lollipop right now.

The new app drawer in Android Marshmallow is not only functional, but it looks great too thanks to a clean new white look.
Download Google Now Launcher
To run the new app drawer, you first need to replace your current launcher with the Google Now Launcher. Nexus devices use this launcher by default, so Nexus owners can ignore this step. If, however, you do not have the Google Now Launcher then you need to download it from the Play Store by clicking below.
Install the new APK app for Android Marshmallow
Once you've installed Google Now Launcher, you need to download the Google App APK file. To do this:
- Make sure your device is set to accept downloads from unknown sources. To enable this, go to Settings > Security then tick the Unknown sources box.
- Next, download the Google App APK file to your device, which you can get directly by clicking here. Open the APK once you've downloaded it, then follow the instructions to install Google App.

You're set. All you need to do now is go to your app drawer to admire the new look. If you decide you don't want it, just uninstall it like you would any other app.
Have you tried the new app drawer yet? Do you prefer it to the old one?
Translated from AndroidPIT.br by Robert Zak
I prefer old app driwer...
Just search google in the play store and select the blue google app or if it is updated the new google logo and unistall the app....the app drawer is automatically unistalled.....
What if the method jop swart described isn't possible?
Thank you jop swart it really worked on my nexus 5
To uninstall this worse app drawer your have to do this:
Go to the playstore and search "Google". Select the blue Google-App and uninstall the app. Then your will get the two options, update and delete, select update. Now your go to the Google Now Launcher in the Play Store and uninstall it. When the launcher is uninstalled, you have to re-install it. Now you have the nice app drawer back.
Remember that your Google Now Launcher settings currently are disappeard, but it doesn't takes so much time to set your settings back.
Hope it works.
How do I uninstall it. I don't like it.
I prefer old driver; once it has ben said, that alfabetic driwer was bad decision, and the old driver with be in Android marshmallow.
How do you uninstall this crap? I've deleted the file from downloads and looked for it on the apps but it seems it can't be found anywhere...
Moto E
Same problem. No way to uninstall, and it's thoroughly broken OK Google. And on a Nexus phone, no way to uninstall the Google app. About to factory reset to see if that wipes it out.
Did you find a solution to problem.....really hate I did this
please help
how to uninstall android m app drawer from nexus 5. unable to do
I don't kmow, buth if you will later instal Android M, app drawer will be probably default...
Not worth having the app drawer if it means using google now launcher. I tried it once and found it useless.
What ever my device oppoR8006
Basically lollipop and M are getting worse by the minute. The above pic of the keyboard is pure iphone, and WHERE has the number row gone ??. Having a number row makes it so much easier to input a long password.
I would put Nova Launcher on any new phone I bought straightaway- as I have done with my old S3, and now new Note 4. And a keyboard with number row, if M didn't have one. ( and no one knows for sure)
Long live KK 4.4.4.
How to un install it ?????
Yep OK Google doesn't work anymore. Stink.
