Its there and always be there. You might use old version of play store, so you just need to update it to the latest.

Yeah, I have the same question. What's even harder is indie devs can't compete with big-time devs. I really wish someone will post some suggestions how to get featured on Google Playstore

Thousand of downloads per day and many good reviews ,Once it is in top for all keywords in the category it should come in featured.
