Samsung is reinforcing its leadership in mobile phone market. According to Gartner research data reported by the Wall Street Journal, in the second quarter, Samsung has sold 90.43 million mobile phones gaining 21.6% of the market compared to 20.7% in the first quarter and by 16.3 % for the same period last year. Nokia in second place with 19.9% of the market. Apple‘s market share is 6.9%.
Samsung’s market share has declined compared to 22.8% a year ago but up slightly to 19.8% in the first three months of the year. While the Apple rises from 4.6% in the second quarter last year.
