Leaked photos from China show what could be the successor to the OnePlus One. On Tuesday, reports suggest the OnePlus One mini would have a Snapdragon 615 processor and sell for less than 250 USD. Update: According to Chinese blogs, OnePlus will celebrate its birthday by releasing two new products on Wednesday. This comes as a tech editor argues that rumors about the OnePlus One mini are false.

Update: As OnePlus celebrates a year in business, a leaked promotional poster suggests the company is releasing two new products. The poster shows an illustration of a heart on an electro cardiogram chart. This may show that OnePlus is releasing a device with a heart rate monitor.

According to GizmoChina, the OnePlus One mini would sell for 1499 CNY; about 242 USD depending on the exchange rate of the day.

As the smaller version of the OnePlus One flagship, the mini would have a five inch screen. Reports from China suggest the phone’s front and back-facing cameras will both be 8 MP.
The OnePlusOne mini is said to have a Qualcomm 615 Snapdragon chip. Just like the OnePlus One, pictures of the mini show it has a black front and white back.

The OnePlus One mini is said to run Android 4.4.4. This lines up with the Android 4.4 and CyanogenMod hybrid that runs on the OnePlus One. There is no word on whether it will eventually be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop though.
OnePlus has already confirmed the release of the OnePlus Two in the second or third-quarter of 2015. It is unclear whether the release of the OnePlus One mini would be pegged to the OnePlus Two.

Update: A editor at Engagdet is trying to disprove the rumours about the OnePlus One mini. On Wednesday, Richard Lai tweeted a picture of the Koobee H2 phone; which bears a overwhelming likeness to the OnePlus One mini.
