Google Nexus 5 — Troubles after update

After the 5 October 2016 update, my nexus 5 has struck some troubles.
The microphone's volume has gone and I can only talk using the loud speaker or bluetooth.
The incoming voices are clear but my outgoing is muffled.
The battery has dropped to less than 8 hours where as it was giving over 24 hours before the update.
Android update version 6.0.1, build number M4B30X.
Any advice please?
