Tablet stops charging when entering sleeping mode

I have a tablet samsung galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition, which has a problem with charging while is going into sleeping mode. maximum time of going into sleeping mode is 30 min.
if i do not let the tablet go into sleeping mode it charges ok.

does anyone face this problem!!!
