HTC Evo 3D — is it bad for the performance of my EVO 3D not turning it off?

I have usually kept my phone on almost all the time ever since it came out off box. Battery runs down fast so I just ordered a new additional battery for my Sprint EVO 3D on mpj last week. Wondering is it bad for the performance of a phone not turning it off? Should I turn it off at least once a day?

I only turn it off if I feel its laggy.

Well, I would say try installing some battery saver application on your device and keep your phone in the power saving mode (if you just don't use it too much then switching your device to the power saving mode is going to help you in saving power). What sucks most of the battery is the background running application even if you are not using your device some of the background apps keep running on. There are some battery saving apps that cleans the background running apps periodically. I would say somewhat battery saver apps is going to help you ! :?
