I'd like to use MHL on my P880, but apparently only the standard LG software is able to correctly use it - CyanogenMod can only produce an image in portrait mode. not landscape.
So I'd thought I'd settle with using CM and LG by switching them - Boot Manager came to mind - didn't work, probably because I didn't find the right settings.
Is there another way? I suppose I could constantly change ROMs by using Rom Manger (basically reflashing it), but that would take longer and probably not be too healthy for the memory either.
Or is there a custom ROM that can make use of MHL, unlike CM?
Also, more a noob question, I admit - why aren't there more multi-boot apps? The process involved seems simple (create an img file and mount that instead of the real partitions) - though I suppose the main problem will be the initial boot sequence. I'm not a kernel hacker, unfortunately...
