Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 — Need some help with printing

Hi, any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to find a cost effective printer that I can hook up to my Tab 2. I work out of a truck where maybe 2 or 3 times a day, I am needed to leave a report with client. My boss is trying to develop an electronic way of doing field reports and I am the test subject for this. Most mobile printers are way too costly, so if I could connect a regular printer to the Tab, it would solve my problem. Wondering if anyone knows if you can connect directly to the Tab, is the only way wireless, or is there some app to bridge the gap? As for powering the printer, I am just going to use a small power inverter. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks again.
