email problems

Has anyone got the answer to this problem? I use the email icon to check my mail on the new sony ericsson phone, the xperia x10 and then delete from inbox. The mail then ends up in trash and all mail but when i try deleting from here it just reappeas again the next time i go in. Is there a way to permanently delete these? Thanks.

Not sure. Someone with an Xperia handset would have to chime in here, as my version of Android is different from yours.
