Low memory - now cant access internet

My Wife's ChaCha came up with low memory warning but there was nothing major loaded on the phone just standard apps it came with. She fiddled around turning off some apps she thought she didnt need but now it wont connect to the internet. Any ideas how to undo what she has done?
