Android 6 Marshmallow: update overview for smartphones and tablets

Will your smartphone or tablet get the Android update to Android 6 Marshmallow? Despite Android 7 Nougat having been officially released in mid 2016, smartphone manufacturers are still pushing out Android Marshmallow updates. We've created a helpful overview for the most popular and most used Android devices to let you know if and when your smartphone will get the next Android update.
Device overview
Asus | Huawei | Oppo |
Blackberry | Lenovo | Samsung |
LG | Sony | |
Honor | Motorola | Xiaomi |
HTC | OnePlus |
Asus
Asus had a trend over the past year that a large portion of their devices which were running on Android Kitkat (and lower) did not receive an update to Android Lollipop. It seems like that trend continues, as quite a few those lucky devices that received the Android Lollipop or were released with them, won't be getting the Android Marshmallow update.
While it seems like Asus won't be rolling out any more Android Marshmallow updates any time soon - with Android Nougat being fully released and Android O(reo) having been released as a developer preview - there is still hope for some Asus devices.

Blackberry
Blackberry launched its first Android smartphone, the Blackberry Priv, in November 2015. It was a noticeable departure from its Blackberry OS and was seen by many as a last attempt to claw back some of its lost market share. Following the up on the positive reception, Blackberry decided to launch the Blackberry DTEK 50 - a modified and rebranded version of the Alcatel Idol 4 in July 2016. While the hardware received positive reviews, the software was criticized for containing redundant blackberry security features which were already included in the Android OS. Blackberry decided to throw another Android based device on the market in October 2016, the Blackberry DTEK 60, this time including a fingerprint scanner on the back. Both the Blackberry DTEK 50 and the DTEK 60 were launched with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, though there is no word of any updates in the near future.

The entire Nexus family received the Lollipop update up to Android 5.1.1, and all bar the Nexus 4, 7 (2012) and 10 have now progressed onto Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Android 7.0 Nougat. Following the unofficial tradition, with the release of Android Marshmallow, Google launched two new Android Flagships. In collaboration with Huawei, Google unveiled the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P in September 2015.
One of the perks of Nexus phones is that you can download factory images for the latest, as well as earlier, Android versions from the official Google Developers' site.
Just click the link above, then scroll down until you find your Nexus device and download the version you want. Factory images generally appear before OTA (over the air) updates – but not always – so if you're feeling impatient you can download the latest Android version manually.

HTC given its Google Play Edition device a little breath of life with this Android update. LG G4 users in Poland began receiving the update in October 2016, but there were some technical difficulties and the test was halted. In late November, however, users across Europe began reporting that the Android Marshmallow update was beginning to arrive on their devices. You can check if your device is part of the rollout using LG Bridge, the company's PC sync software.
In November 2016, LG made the Marshmallow update available to LG G4 owners in Korea, making the company's home nation the second to receive the update. The software was uploaded to LG's website, which enabled customers to apply the update via their computers.

OnePlus
OnePlus CEO Carl Pei unveiled the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update plans for the OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X in November 2015 in the official OnePlus forum. According to the post, the OnePlus one should receive the marshmallow update (in the form of the Cyanogen OS 13) in the first quarter of 2016. Only after that update, will Oxygen OS be adapted for Android Marshmallow.
A public beta of Oxygen OS 3.0 (which is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow) has been available for the OnePlus 2 since the end of March, 2016. OnePlus does not call this pre-release a beta, but community build instead. Note that this is not a final version and the update may contain bugs and errors. OnePlus wants to use this public test to find the last serious bugs in cooperation with the users of OnePlus 2, in order to eliminate them as quickly as possible. If you want to participate in this test, you can download Community Build on the OnePlus website and flash them on your OnePlus 2.

Hello
Amazing working marshmellow in my redmi note 3...

Micromax
Am I exicted to get Marshmallow on my device? Not as excited as I am to get it off my device, and replace it with Nougat! The sooner the better!!
Everyone who is experiencing issues with the latest updates should do a factory reset, this should be done after every major update to clear the system cache from any old system files, it also ensures that the apps (including system apps) update to there optimum versions.
Peace ?
How about note 3,won't it get marshmallow? I didn't see it in the list
Just received the 6.0 Marshmallow update on my excellent Samsung Galaxy S5. Though the changes are fairly minimal. It does seem to be a little faster/slicker. Though it doesn't bring the same changes as my Tab S2. I presume that because Samsung wants me to upgrade my device, rather than providing a full update. With the 6.0 update my S5 will be running for a few more years
Peace ?
Add schemes of micromax mobiles
whan did i get update of android marshmellow or android nougat in my LG V10 internationally

Reluctantly updated my Xperia C5 Ultra to MushMellow and now Bluetooth connection is like playing a scratched 1970's vinyl record. Totally useless to use in my car now. Any tips on a potential fix would be appreciated.
Do a factory reset after every major update to clear the system cache off any old files etc, this should clear any bugs.
Peace ?
Will the update be for Kyocera hydro wave?
Will you talk about how to get it on my BLU Studio C Super Camera?
That phone has a cheap proccesor and 1GB of ram so I highly recommend sticking with what it upgrades to

3. Over all... my phone speed has decreased immensely and this must be fixed urgently or simply I will have to go back the to the precious update.
I really like the new soundsite and the app looks but if affects the performance of my note 4 I don't want it.
I have two BLU phones and they both came with marshmallow installed, so I put a 64g sd card in both and SUPER I now have 68g's of internal storage on both phones, so I read somewhere that marshmallow is comming for Samsung Galaxy Tab A, GREAT, I have one, it has 16g's of internal storage and I have a 32g sd card in it. I was able to put about 1/3 of an app and almost all the data on my sd card, so along comes the PUSH from Samsung for marshmallow, with NO big warnings at the very beginning of the push and after all I already have it on two phones and it works great. WHAT NOBODY IS TELLING ANYBODY IS THAT MARSHMALLOW DOES NOT WORK THE SAME ON A TABLET AS IT DOES ON A PHONE, EVEN THOUGH EVERY OTHER PAST "OS" WAS THE SAME ON A TABLET AS IT WAS ON A PHONE. YOU CAN NOT PUT ANYTHING EXCEPT MEDIA ON A SD CARD IN A TABLET AND YOU CAN NOT GO BACK TO KIT KAT, SO MY TABLET IS NOW ONLY HALF AS GOOD AS IT WAS WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT IT. i FIND THIS TO BE EXTREMELY SLEAZY ON SAMSUNG'S BEHALF, NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE THEN MICROSOFT PUSHING WINDOWS AND NOT TELLING ANYONE THAT THERE WAS NO LONGER A MEDIA CENTER., AND I JUST GOT'S TO SAY "I'M PISSED"!!!!!!! Ted Doherty (teddoh@hotmail.com)
Samsung decided not to include the feature that adopts SD card as internal storage - though I have a Samsung Tab S2 running 6.0 and I am able to successfully move apps to the SD card, it's the same system as before (5.0).
Nuts to marshmallow- where is Nougat ?
I have a alcatel onetouch can I get the update

Will the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) get the android marshmallow update ?
yes
I have a Samsung note 2 will I get the marshmallow update or not please let me know
lol. you're joking right? no you won't get it officially
Ever since I've installed this update on my Verizon Note 4 I've had nothing but problems! My battery dies quicker, my phone randomly reboots, I don't get texts, I don't get alerts even though 5 minutes before I was getting them and many other issues! I literally have to reboot my phone to get some things to start working again! They work for 30 minutes, then they don't! WORST UPDATE EVER! PLEASE FIX!!!!!!!! I use this for my business and unless you are going to reimburse me for lost clients and wages, it needs to be fixed asap! Hate it! Everyone I've spoken to that did the update has the same complaints! One even lost everything due to the update!
I always do a factory reset after a big update like that. It gets rid of the remnants of the old OS. You just have to make sure you back everything up and go into settings and make sure that ur phone is set up to automatically update, and to backup and restore ur Google account! :)
My galaxy tab A just got marshmallow. I live in canada
Also, when do you think the Sony M4 aqua will get it?
A bit of a silly question but, Let's say I stick with Android 5.0 and don't go to Marshmallow: Then android N comes out... will my device download the latest android even if I skipped one update?
depends on which device you have
Did marshmello come in nepal samsung j2 ?and mobile data didn't work in j2 ? What's the solution??
no Marshmallow update for j2. DON'T buy Samsung devices if u need updates
Kapan upgrade android M untuk oppo R7s
I was disappointed to see that your report on the Samsung devices completely omitted the Galaxy Tab S2 tablet in both sizes. Does this mean it has been dropped from the list of devices receiving the Marshmallow update?
I have an S2 8" and I'm getting notifications re Marshmallow but I'm going to wait. I'm in Australia.
Btw, it's a great tablet, love it!
I have Nexus 5 2013 and Marchmallow sincee october last year and it works without eny problems.
It's realy worth to upgrated.
I have a galaxy grand prime, will I receive the marshmallow update?
No. DON'T buy Samsung devices if you need updates
Still waiting on att for my note 5
I received an Android OS Marshmallow update for my ZTE, it's working fine, which is more than I can say for the troubles I had with both Asus and Motorola (MotoLenovo) -- will never buy another device from either Company (I should be refunded by both for the bullshit I went through) ....
I don't expect an update to Android OS N -- Google hasn't given this OS an official name -- but I'm curious to see how Google will encourage device manufacturers to swiftly offer an update (as well as get Network service providers to cut the bullshit) ....
We have come a long way since Ice Cream Sandwich
no update to marshmallow on note 4 T-Mobile yet!!????
Or ATT?
This was great info
When will samsung galaxy E7 get the marshmallows update in india ... !
it won't.
I have LG Leon Lte and my MM update arrived yesterday. I never even hoped for this update to come for a midrange phone like this.
Still waiting for my (biggest) carrier in Australia (shame Telstra shame) to release MM.
the hell with this site won't let me make my post .
Had it on my Z5 for two months now that's 6.0.0 version wished I'd waited for the 6.0.1 version to be released because i personally think the 6.0.0 version isn't worth downloading and lollipop was better especially the battery saving mode by Sony is far better than doze by Google.
I'm still waiting on my marshmallow update for my ASUS ZenFone 2 deluxe.
it's awesome Android 6.0 (marshmallow) comfirtable Lenovo K4 Note my smartphone properly worked smooth and light and most useful apps or feature ...
Why some of samsung phones do not recive any os updates
coz they only support high end phones. it's very rare that they give Android updates to devices outside Note or S series. so unless u r buying from those 2 series it's better to stay away from Samsung
Some of the changes I definitely do not like, if possible please change this, I would like to be able to customize my text messages, such as adding picture to person related to txt, change background etc, just the way it was before
Please Correct The Spelling In Hawie Header
Don't you mean Huawei?
Any news about J2? Will it get Marshmallow?
no
Heyy!!! can somebody help how to update andriod 6.0 marshmallow in lava pixel v2 plzz
no
what about the samsung galaxy core prime
its a bit dissapointing that it wont be receiving the update
How did you find out about this phone not receiving the update?
obviously. it's Samsung. what do you expect
I have my nice new Motorola Moto X Style which came with Android 5 aka Lollipop 5.1.1, my phone is with Telstra in Australia. I've been offered the Marshmallow update, but going by past experiences with Google's software updates, plus what I've read about Android 6 Marshmallow, I've decided I'm in no rush to update my phone. So thanks but, no thanks for now.
marshmallow is already rolling out for Samsung S5 G901F the European open version.
Available for Germany and Nordic States
:-))
My phone seems to be not getting an marshmallow update any time soon.
I've yet to get the marshmallow update from Verizon. Samsung S5. They said 2 months ago it would be 2 weeks. What's the holdup?
Samsung S6 Active. When is it getting the 6.0 update? AT&T is so slow whenever there are updates released.
See my posting 16th may on article: Why are you still waiting for Marshmellow
I just downloaded Marshmallow and now the names of my contacts do not stay posted in messaging only their phone numbers. No problem in contacts or call logs . If I want to text someone I need to know their phone numbers. I have an LG G Stylo
Mine does that now too all of a sudden and I haven't even had the marshmallow update. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5.
Hey, I'm using Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo. And it has notify me that upgrade to Android 6.0. Should i upgrade? I worried about compatibility issues and battery, cpu, ram hogging. Does anyone has an issue with your devices after upgrading? Please let me know, Thanks! (Phone specs: Qualcomm SnapDragon 615 1.5 GHz 8 core CPU, 3 Gigs RAM, Ardreno 405 GPU)
i upgraded my Z5 to marshmallow a month ago and gone is sonys battery saving modes which were better than Google doze and most of the other stuff makes no difference in performance. I for one wouldn't have downloaded 6.0.0 would have waited for 6.0.1
Well, my phone battery is 5000 mAh so it should survived my lifestyle as movie lovers. But i concerned alot about Performance and compatibility.
Any news about the Vodafone smart speed 6? Will it upgrade to Android 6.0 marshmallow?
I own a galaxy note 4 and I still have not received my marshmallow update yet anyone else have this issue ?? For T-MOBILE users .
I am on a note 5 and I haven't gotten it either
Although marshmallow for Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 edge is great for doze and saves a ton of battery, finding alot of other issues that is messing up my phone. Smart stay doesn't seem to work as well anymore, the most annoying thing is using fingerprint security. Before, just switch back and forth from fingerprints to nothing, now when change from fingerprints it asks if you want to remove fingerprints totally (why the hell would you want to do this?) or you have to put in a passcode twice which is super annoying. Also, I just noticed if take a pic, in gallery I go in to edit and it DOES NOT SAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even though I click on apply and save, just keeps going back to original pic. WORST OS UPDATE EVER!!! When is the next one coming to hopefully fix all this nonsense? I also noticed my phone is more glitchy when it never was before.
Hey!!! Can somebody help, am currently using a SONY XPERIA Z3 but haven't yet got the update. Tried through software update but nothing even through the PC
Just be a little patient; you will get update on Marchmallow too.

Only way for me to try MM is to flash the India Firmware. I flashed it, and really do like it, then installed a custom rom, now even better.

Hi, anybody do the update on the Verizon Galaxy Note 5 yet? If so, can you please give me any feedback whether it was good or bad? Would like to know before I download. Thank you.
I think it's not a great choice,
Because they promised that android marshmallow's battery life and performance should be good.
But it's wrong I've got the prove.

Can I get android version6 update for my samsungE7?
WHAT ABOUT THE ZTE ZMAX!!!!
Hi,
A few days ago I updated the new version for my Samsung Galaxy S6. Since then my phone does not work properly. I would say it is instabil. Everything stops all the time even when I open the settings/msg or try to make calls. And not saying anything about apps... I contacted Samsung. They did the back up on the phone and a factory reset. It didn't solve the problem. There is no apps on the phone. Only reset contacts and msgs. Nothing else. The phone still not good. It looks like if the problem is with the new update. (I haven't had this problem before updated) I'm thinking update for an older version. Would it be a good idea? Or any other useful idea?
All I hear is about phone's getting the new marshmallow 6.0 update,I have a Samsung Galaxy S8.4 android tablet Model SM-T700NTSAXAR and I would like to know when and if it is going to get the new update !
Can you guys reach out to T-Mobile and see if the Samsung Tab S 10.5 T807T will get Marshmallow? I reached out to T-Mobile Support, they either didn't know or wern't saying to a PAYING CUSTOMER. I'm hoping to take advantage of adoptable storage! One more thing, we as consumers should be disclosed true or estimated actual storage. I have a little more than 8gb left from a 16gb tablet. I keep running out of space!
call t mobile ask to talk to tech 2 and ask them. if their feeling chatty they may give you some info .
Well a week gone in April and ee still haven't come up with marshmallow update for my Sony Z5 in the UK, does anybody know what the hell is going on?
Pls I'd like to know if updating my phone to the new version of android ( Android 6.0 Marshmallow) will take up some storage space, either the ROM or the RAM.
Thanks.
No, storage is stell the same and also Ram as on Lolipop, buth it's worth to upgrade on Marchmallow; there is much under the hat
My phone is Infix Hot X510. I installed the 6.0 android two days ago and now my incoming calls are not showing names of the caller and yet they are saved in both the sim card and google address. Please help. Thanking you in advance.

So the LG G Stylo did in fact get the update today. It is listed on LG.com however it's not listed as available on t-mobile's website. MY son's stylo has not yet received the update notice for Marshmallow. I am still waiting for the S6 edge update from Samsung. Why is that a second gen phone has to wait for the update when phones that are older are getting it already. Does not make any sense. Wtf is Samsung doing anyway?
Well it's been nearly two weeks since Sony released marshmallow I'm on ee and have a z5 still no update contacted ee as to when they would be releasing it and no answers. They act like it's top secret and nobody seems unable or unwilling to give any answers? Surely they'll release it before nuttela arrives or will they? Answers anyone!
The Marshmallow update just started on my LG Magna and it weights as much as 332.95MB
what network are you on ee who I'm on don't give any answers?

Hello , did Samsung Galaxy NOTE 4 N910C can update to Marshmallow?
I'm glad to hear that Asus zenfone 2 is receiving marshmallow. Can't wait!!!!
Feb. 28 Marshmallow was put on my LG3 an now it won't read any SD cards. Verizon says it's LG's problem LG says it's Google's problem It boils down to my problem and I don't know how to fix it, although this is my 4th LG phone with in a Year.
Tired of reading this all the time about marshmallow updates coming to Sony 3xperia z3... From Jan to Feb and now March... Just stop this news to make people excited n get desperate to wait for the update which comes after 3 months of the original date given by the company...
Lenovo A60000 plus not listed in your database. When will i get this latest update in my phone? Or never ever???
Not sure if its of any use to anyone if your on O2 and the phone is locked to O2 but picked this up off their forums in case no one has seen it yet it came off the UK website so am assuming it's as obviously stated, for the UK:
Hello Android users,
With Marshmallow now officially out in the wild in the form of new hardware (see the Nexus 5X and soon-to-be-launched Nexus 6P), official software updates will start pushing out to existing handsets in the coming months. Not every Android handset will see an upgrade for Marshmallow (more on that later...) but we'll keep you posted on this along the way.
NOTE: If you have an unlocked/SIM free handset not purchased via O2 directly, you will not be on the 'O2 update channel' and so your experience will be different. Due to your update coming direct from the vendor, due to various factors, you may see the update arrive sooner or later than O2 customers - this varies from handset to handset, update to update.
Google
With Nexus devices being close to Googles heart, these are usually the first to be updated. The following devices are already receiving updates to Android Marshmallow:

Please tell me. when update Android M for honor 4x (Huawei) Indonesia Edition
My Note4 on Verizon just got a software update, and I assumed it was for the Marshmallow but it says that it's just running on v. 5.1.1....what gives?
Not gonna lie. This update has f*cked my phone. Battery life went from 12 hours with regular use, to 6 hours just on standby. 3d games work like absolute garbage now. How do I go back to the old version??
Only way to revert back to a previous version is (in motherboard terms) to get hold of a the previous version stock ROM image and re-flash the device.
Best to head over to the android dev forum & do a search there for your device, whether anyone has the stock image & read up on a "how to" for re-flashing your device.
:v? Primera vez que entro a Androidpit en inglés
I have a note 4 but for some reason I missed the update from kitkat to lollipop android system and I've been trying to do it manually but it doesn't let me to do it...it shows a message that says "search for updates interrupted "
Hey should lenovo a7000 be getting the android M update
samsung glaxy j7 marshmallow update in india. .....?

When will my Panasonic Eluga Switch upgrade??
Just follow news on Android Pit site.
htc m8 got android 6.0 and Motorola g3 also.
What carrier you have?! Verizon has yet to release anything. I'm tempted to get a stock phone and replace this hunk of Verizon junk :/
My son has an LG G3 and my daughter has an LG G4, both on verizon. But there's been no word from big red. Both are on 5.1.1, lollipop and I am waiting to see how marshmallow looks. Guess I'll just have to wait a little longer. Sigh. ?
I'm tempted to get a stock and flash my phone with the new one's software, then send the new one back...
i have an lg g3 and i already have 6.0 becais i installed the update manually
The Xiaomi Mi3 is slated to get Marshmellow it was on the list posted by an administrator in the MIUI EN Forum in December.
I am on the Chinese dev rom and our weekly ota updates ceased in early Dec in preperation of the forthcoming release.
What does that mean for people living in the Nederlands?
For when is the update expected for LG G3S? Lollipop software is taking up 5.14Gb of internal memory of my phone. That is ridiculous. I have an external storage card where i keep all my photos, music, video and app's. Every time i try to move Facebook app to the sd card phone crashes.
Only have 2Gb of app's.
Bugs: keyboard takes to long to appear. Most of the time vanishes while typing.
Flashlight responds on own will.
Opening of any webpage takes to long to appear.
Music stops playing.
And again that ridiculous amount of consumption of internal storage...5,14 Gigabits of lollipop software... Really!!!!!
It's taking Android to long to release the update.
Clear app cache. If you have facebook, get it off. It uses tons of ram even when not open. I use Tinfoil for Facebook. Tiny app, doesn't require that godawful messenger app.
Greenify is a good one, kills any apps that you've downloaded and don't want running all the time, e.g. snapchat or OneDrive.
Any pre-loaded apps, uninstall all updates then install the latest ones, if you need that app. I've recovered about 6GB of space doing that.
I use the M9, 32GB with 64GB SD card, for both business and gaming, and have all sorts of oddities and funky things installed that run autonomously to help keep my life organized and streamlined.
Good luck, tell me how it turns out :)
Zte Nubia z9 mini will get update and when
marshmallow came to me in Canada around Christmas time. I love it! It improved battery life, my 128Gb micro SD card now houses most of my apps, and it is faster and more fluid than before. I really can't say anything bad about this update, it works fine, I've had no sign of negative effects.
What about the HTC Desire Eye? It's not listed...
a updated my moto x play yesterday in uk on Vodafone
After upgradation of Marshmallow 6.0 on Moto X Play following problems have occur till now :
1> Camera Shutter Sound occur suddenly which was not found on Lollipop 5.1.1.
2> Battery seems to be drain faster than previous version OS Lollipop 5.1.1
3> Email icon remove automatically and all mails come under GMail icon.
4> If SD card is treated as I internal memory card to increase space, through this I cannot copay songs movie or data to its internal storage SD card from my Laptop. Some errors are occur.
If Camera shutter sound is legal for one or two countries, then it is not mandatory for rest of the countries in the world. Shutter sound is really annoying specially if it is used within office and disturbing to other colleague in the office. So there must be on/off button in Camera Shutter.
Therefore, I would request to Google kindly develop patch file for Marshmallow 6.0 and try to release within next 1 month to resolve above issues specially Moto X Play handset.
I have installed the least cm 13 build (nightly) and i dont have any problems. But its the same like the update form Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Only an better UI and some more functiones. Oneplus One

So exactly how long does it take for all phones to get an update. My company sent the update out about a week ago and i still havent gotten the update. I knowxits for my phone cause the website says it was sent out for my phone a while ago but i am not getting the update.
It depends of that which phone you have. On my Nexus5 I'v got update on Marchmsllow in november last year. Just look and follow news on Android Pit portal; there was a few times dates of all phones which will ger update on Marchmallow and when it will.
It'd just be nice to get some actual dates for the release since we're in Q1 already. Instead of it just being a waiting game. I know it's not Android Pit's fault, but still. This is the same info we've been hearing for a while now.
It depend's of which phone you have; follow news on Android Pit, a few times answers where there.
maybe you should install it manually

Excited about the promised battery and ram management improvements on my S6 (remains to be seen) not so excited about the silly, disturbing even, white app icon background.

When will the update come out?
When does the ZTE ZMAX due for a upgrade? Preferably the Marshmallow version
Upgrade to Marshmallow? Sorry, don't hold your breath. Do you recall the rumors (since last year) that the ZTE ZMAX would receive a lollipop upgrade?? Well, it was just that -- rumors. Basically, ZTE has now focused on the newer model "ZTE ZMax 2" and other higher end phones *cough* AXON *cough* (not sold by MetroPCS at this time). The company is not moving backwards by giving ZMAX owners a break on an major upgrade. So, to be blunt, THEY DON'T CARE about the mid budget ZMAX.
Anyway, I would suggest to either root your phone (and if that's not possible from certain updates to block rooting capabilities), look into upgrading your phone in the future.
Oh, and by the way... The last excuse ZTE gave, "It's the responsibility of the phone carrier to initiate an android upgrade". So you know hope is pretty much gone for what we all been waiting for.
New version updated
What about S5 Active?
So, where's the LG V10 on that update list? I would love to know when I can make my external storage internal.

Samsung galaxy j7 marshmallow update
I'm a Galaxy S3 I9300 user and when Samsung forgot this phone a lot of people didn't and now thanks to them I'm using Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. (Resurrection Remix)
When I connect LG g4 to lg brige and check for the update, I always receive message LG bridge is busy at the moment try again later. Anyone who has the same issue with update check?
Have you had any luck sorting this prob out? I ask because I am having the same problem!
When will I get 6.0 update in Lg G3 F400L11a?? Now I'm using 4.4.2 kitkat version.. And there is no update still.. Any idea mates?? TY
Why nexus 4 was left out?
Thanks for the article. Netflix app, Hulu, or BBC is great on Android. If live outside USA, you can use tools like UnoTelly to get Netflix, Hulu, or BBC, etc on your Android.
I miss the HTC M8s in your overview.
There is an indication for all HTC phones here. By clicking on one, the if and when appears on the right. It is not very precise though.

Surprisingly I did not find an English version of this.
For the M8s is stated that is will get Marshmallow. But I have no clue when. Will that be in another month, or 3, or 6? And will I get Sense 7?
Even for the M9 it is just stated that it is in phase 3 of the process. That is not really comforting as the process consists of 8 to 12 phases.

Is the galaxy s6 getting the update and if so when?
Yes. Q1 2016
I have tried MM on my Tab S 10.5 (ASOP ported) and it looks and works great, just need Theme Engine to work and I will be using it on my tab again.
Moto G 1st gen?
i wanna know too
It looks like your info is accurate and up to date. I have a Moto X Pure Edition. You said Marshmallow (6.0) would be available for the Pure in US 12/8. I got it today, 12/9.
Will the lg g3 get the marshmallow update? And if it does when will,it arrive?
Will lg g3 get android 5.1.1 first?
Only Verizon customers got the 5.1.1 update. If you're not on Verizon, you will skip 5.1.1 and go straight to Marshmallow. No news on when Marshmallow will arrive, though. Shouldn't be too much longer.
I'm on AT&T using the S6 active and just updated to 5.1.1 yesterday. My brother is with sprint unsung the S6 & he has been on 5.1.1 for 3 months now so I'm not sure how accurate this post is
Just read today mi4's going to be updated to android m next week:)
This is why I would not buy a freaking Samsung. They classify its owners for updates. Apple gets the update to ALL iPhone users at once!
So go to an Crapple site then, don't come onto an android forum and complain!
Well DUH! Apple is just one brand. Android OS works with multiple brands, LG, Huawei, ZTE, Samsung, Motorola, HTC, etc. It's obvious it's more complicated for Android to reach every device.
If you get the answer, please notify me in my email hanssaputra3@gmail.com. thanks
I like this update. But I'll appreciate to those device.
when this update available in Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy J5
No any xiaomi mi4i updates news yet??

Is It true s4 getting M
Sorry for the confusion. That was an oversight. As far as we know, the Galaxy S4 is not getting Marshmallow. The table has been updated to reflect this.
Wait, so the Galaxy S4 is going to get the Marshmallow update? First I've seen that.
