There are so many ways to unlock your phone with the development of new technologies.Last week we had your vote on which would be your preferred way to do this.

Coming in first place is the fingerprint scanner, which explains all the hype surrounding the in-display fingerprint sensor. Why is this be the preferred method of unlocking? Some of you said that this is because it's the most natural and easiest way, and that it works quickly and reliably.

It seems that with the iris, face and blood scanner, trust is a big issue. The risk of someone stealing your data can be quite unnerving, but the use of these may also be a bit more practical too. For example, you can't use the iris scanner if you wear contacts or glasses, and you cannot use face scan in certain lighting conditions (with most devices). As well as this, these methods are not as fast.

Many of you mentioned the reliability and accessibility of the trusty pin code, so this way is definitely not obsolete!

You obviously haven't used the Note 7,8,S8,S9 etc. As you are VERY UNINFORMED about Samsung's iris scanning tech. I wear glasses and contacts and as long as you scan your eye without glasses or contacts when setting up the iris scanner you can absolutely use iris scanners with glasses and contacts. I even have the glasses that turn into sunglasses in the sun and even in sunglasses form it works 100% of the time for me and my whole family since we all use the iris scanner by default. It's sad that you would lay claim to such information ON A TECH SITE... about a tech product.

Well, it may be a surprise to you, but we did, of course, test the iris scanner on multiple Samsung devices with multiple people. Yes, the scanner works sometimes even with glasses, but in our tests, it did not work way too often for it to be really useful. Don't worry, before we write about something, we do actually try it out first, in this case even a lot of times with multiple devices ;)
