The best new Android apps to download November 2019

We're back this month with a fresh round-up of the best apps to check out from Google Play Store. Enjoy the November 2019 selection of our Android app favorites.
Our pick of the best new apps to try in November 2019
Threads from Instagram
Developed by Instagram, Threads is the new companion application to the social network. The app, available to download for free, allows you to send messages, photos, videos and stories between contacts in the network very quickly and easily. Just log into your account, select your close friends and you're done. Threads, which is very much inspired by Snapchat, also gives you the opportunity to share a status (at home, in sports, watching TV...) with your friends.

Note taking with Ruff
Awarded the Material Design Trophy by Google in 2019, Ruff is a particularly interesting new note-taking application. In addition to its successful and modern style, the app offers you multiple options to take notes and keep track of everything you want. It is possible to share and export your notes. Several languages are available other than English for those of you who are bilingual.

Feeleat diet tool
Feeleat not only offers the chance to keep a log of good and bad eating habits, but the application also wants to help you find a better balance by offering you tips and tricks to achieve it. You must fill in your meals and objectives for it to work. Born from the common work of thousands of people, patients, and doctors, Feeleat has a pleasant and easy to understand interface. An account is required to use the application.

Have you given any of these apps a try? Do you have any recommendations to share? Let us know in the comments below!

Agree. I've been using the beta and like it so far.
Spotify stations will surely appeal to music lovers ;-)
Shazam's new feature will rock everyone's routine of listening and enjoying music. The new feature is easy to use, and everybody can identify which song they are listening to.
devcheck is also a very good app for a comprehensive look inside your phone details ?
I installed Datala and found that mobile data traffic dropped, which is a very good thing.
I recommend this app.
Not listed here, but I've been using Adguard, which has DRAMATICALLY lowered my data usage as well as blocking threats.
It is called Datally not Datala. ??
very informative ,regarding up to date technology
"Every time you visit a website, it will show you how many trackers are attempting to keep track of your." - Please finish your sentences.

Hi Juliana,
You can try some of the tips in this article if you're having problems with the Play Store:

i was here from someone but not exactly is there but i here from that recently someone launch a application like we have enter mobile number and we have got the all chatting information which we have to do with all our contacts is it true or not can you please inform me..?
Thanks in advance
I've tried various privacy browsers to avoid cookies and kludge when opening one-off sites from news aggregators or emails - the main problem is site compatibility, sites that open in full-feature browsers sometimes won't in the lighter ones. The best so far has been Ghostery but I'd be open to try FF Focus.
I like firefox focus, even though you can't save passwords, use new tabs, etc.. Just the pleasure of not having ads pop up, scroll past, slow load the page ,etc.. makes it earn it's stripes with me. If I need saved passwords, and all that other stuff, I will use chrome( it's still my default ). For those times you need no-nonsense browsing, it's the best.

I wish Socratic had a way to teach general knowledge. When standing in line, I'd like to just learn facts and interesting things.
The Android apps I use mostly when it comes to the messaging side of things are "Facebook Messenger," "Duo," and "Allo" (which is getting a "desktop" version soon.)
I do have an iPod Touch of my own, though "IMessage" and "FaceTime" are rarely used.
BTW, no one on here has mentioned "Threema" yet.
wow!
really awesome, i like photo editor and i will install these apps.
i am keen on snapnote. it is quite suitable for an old student like me.
Thanks for the recommendations, energy bar adds the touch I've been looking for
For Pete's sake don't use the comments section on this post to recommend your own favorite apps. Please restrict yourself to commenting on the apps presented in this article.
I went through the comments earlier and cleaned them up. If you find one (in general) that looks like spam etc. please use the report button found at the bottom of any comment. Thank you! :)

Why not a monthly list of games? Because I'm missing good puzzle games since the release of cut the rope...
I luckily found a new one "Catch My Berry" in the android play store. Even though I'll have finished it in a couple of days... :-(
Hermit it is.
After reading some of these comments, those of us who can remember, what it was like when we didnt have any apps! Gosh what did we do then? Really think about it! Now, however I must admit I have app install addiction! Yes we are all APP ADDICTS!! LOL.
It would be fun if Scott did a piece about this. All of our little thrills when we install apps. All the little icons all over. You name it, there is an app for that.
P.S I could create an app for app addiction.
The whole video thing is completely stupid if you are not able to use it across ALL DEVICES, including Apple. Having video calling is cool but if the person has Apple or vise versa Android you can not video chat... Like how stupid is that. This is how they trap you brand specific Apple products only Apple to Apple video chat or iMessage, same with Google's new video chat keeps you trapped to Android users only so if your friend or family member had a different phone it's not possible. So to me this whole video chat is just stupid until they fix that.
Ryan, I totally agree. They dont care about the consumer. Its all a money machine.
I like the idea of Google Duo because there's this friend of mine who can't use Skype and when we tried to do a video call through Facebook the picture quality wasn't that good. I'm hoping that if we try this app the quality of the picture will be much better.
Prisma is good
This is quite helpful. Thanks for sharing.
I downloaded some apps listed. hahaha. They're awesome.
My favorite one was Habitica both because I have trouble following through with keeping my goals in sight and completing them and also because it is in the form of an RPG, which I love. I may definitely have to give it a shot.
had a quick look at Prisma. Not a fan as applying an effect to a picture is significantly slow.
Much fond of Instagram quick retouch, although it's not artistic.
Makes sense :)

I've got enough apps i don't use a lot without any of these which don't do that much except clog your phone up with more useless junk?

Game of Thrones is regularly classified as an "epic fantasy" story, a drama series created for television by the studio HBO. It has captured the interest of millions of viewers.
I have a major issue with android lollypop on my nexus 5. While talking on the phone, my ear touches the mute button and the person on the opposite side suddenly can't hear my voice. Does somebody have a solution?
I had the same problem on my N5 until the upgrade from 5.0 to 5.01 fixed it
I would advise you to download Fish Fingers.
Why can't I get Internet Explorer on my Android? One of my web sites I work with is only available on IE (I know that's anal, but it is what it is). I've tried the lookalikes and none of them work. This is seriously hampering my work efforts. HELP!!!
