Want larger battery charge level display

I have a Samsung A20 running Android A205USQS8BTL2 (applied Jan 21 2021).

The battery level icon in the upper right of the home screen is tiny and I often can't read it, depending on the external light level.

I would like a larger battery charge display somehow. I don't care whether the current icon is made larger, or I install a battery level app that displays realtime charge % in its app icon (even when the app is not open), or some other method that is a lot more convenient than navigating to Settings->Device Care->Battery.

I suspect that this is a FAQ that was solved long ago, but I can't seem to find a solution by internet search.

I'm probably a nitwit, but I can't find a search function on this forum.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Check some battery apps on the Google Play Store for your purpose. For example: Accu Battery, Battery, etc.

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.
The minimalist app available on Play Store: https://goo.gl/ws42fN

James, thank you very much for the suggestion.

I installed those two apps as well as a 3rd (these apps' Play Store images appeared to show battery level on the app icon, so I can see why you would suggest trying them), but none of them display the battery data on the icon.

For your needs, look into some battery applications on the Google Play Store. For instance, Accu Battery, Battery, and so on.

You should try out different battery apps in the Google Play Store if you're interested in taking a larger variety of applications with long battery life.

wextio, longer battery life is not the objective, actually.

Thanks for replying, though.

I'm still searching for a larger battery charge display on the Home screen.

Maybe it doesn't exist....
