In Whatsapp business app when I try to add a status it just shows sending. If say I am adding 5 images then only 1 (or none) image is posted and rest stays in 'Sending' status only. After this I am not able to send messages also but I am able to receive messages.

Try Version 9.80 it's best among all. If you still want to stick with your current version, I would recommend you to delete and again make your account. Your problem will be solved.
