Samsung GT3309t can’t upload ringtone

I’d like to upload a ringtone to my GT 3309t. I used to have Kies before to upload to my old 3309, but it apparently the newer version of Kies is so super-charged now it won’t work on this current phone.

I’ve got the tone on my laptop but am now stuck as to how to get it onto the phone.
I’d be most grateful for your instructions. I like my “Old phone” ringtone.

Can you copy that ringtone file into your GT 3309t from the laptop when they are connected with a usb cabel? Then go to your phone Settings to set the ringtone.
