Whatsapp doesn't recognise number.

I have a dual sim phone and WhatsApp doesn't recognise one of the telephone numbers installed in the phone. Can this problem be rectified. My knowledge of modern technology is very limited!!
Any help would be much appreciated. John.

Your WhatsApp account works on the phone number you registered with. It will not send to a second even on the same phone. It should not be a real issue since your phone should show all notifications for both number, unless you turn that sim off sometimes.

Hi Mark, Very many thanks for your reply and advice, much appreciated. My knowledge as to how WhatsApp works on my phone has now increased by 100%!!!!!!
