Hi everyone
Ever do a web search, then get bombarded by pop up ads pertaining to the search?
Gets a little bit annoying doesn't it!
I found a way to stop almost all of it without using your secret mode!
Anybody interested?
Google keeps track of your web activity in google settings, they say that they don't sell this information but i don't think thats true!
Here's how to shut it down.
Go to apps then settings and tap on the google icon, there you will find a selection called ; personal info & privacy tap it.
Then tap on activity controller, then tap on web&web activity . There you will see a toggle - shut it off. On that same page you see a box labeled "manage activity " tap on that, then you will see a day by day list of every web search you have done for the last few months. Look for the 3 verticle dots tap them and you will be given the option to delete your web activity day by day untill it's all been erased.
After you do that google will no longer have a list of your web searches to give (sell) to advertisers and most of thoes annoying pop-up ads will go away!
This has worked very well on my galaxy S5
have a nice day google
