Internet 3G not working after update

Hi,
I recently updated my Alcatel One Touch Pop C1 with original version 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) to version 5.0.1 Lollipop without problems, until I noticed that the cell phone did not pick up 3G Internet, only GSM (Edge) which is very Slow. After some research I tried to solve the problem by forcing the cell phone to use 3G internet only (WCDMA only) using the code * # * # 4636 # * # * but whenever I do this, my cell phone loses the network signal ).
When I used the previous version on android I used the internet 3G without problems!
Can someone help me to solve my problem!
