Nexus 9 Discontinuation

I am Willing to buy a new Android Tablet that will get all the official updates released by Google.So, The Google Nexus 9 Came Into my Mind.But after some time, I came to know that a new Tablet "Google Pixel C '' has been announced by Google.So, I fear that The Google Nexus 9 might be Discontinued due to the release of Pixel C.
