Google Nexus 5 — Nexus 5 photos not appearing if only one photo

Taking a single photo with Nexus 5 since the 5.1.1 update, it doesn't appear in the photos app. Screen says "no photos". If you take a second photo, then both will appear. In summary, you can't take a single photo and view it. You always need to take a second one to be able to view "photos".

Problem solved as of 8/21/15 with an update for "Photos" app.
