How to turn/off GPS in Android by programing

Hi ,
I am developing an Android app in which I want to turn/off GPS by programming . Is this possible by programming I have already read on most link and suggestion on stackeover flow and I am struggling from any days but did not get any success

Please any body suggest me how can I do this functionality in Android app development
