Samsung Galaxy S2 — Voice Dialing not working correctly

I was given a Galaxy S2 Skyrocket by a female friend after my phone died. This Galaxy works fine except when I try to voice dial it doesn't seem to recognize my voice and constantly chooses the wrong entries from my phone book. The user manual seems to indicate that I need Voice Talk but I don't see that anywhere in the phone, only Voice Search.

Can anyone offer me advice as to how I can get the voice dialing to work correctly?
