Snapchat Snapcash ad is funny and weird

Snapchat has received a new feature called Snapcash which allows users to send money to one another just by opening the chat window and sending a dollar sign followed by an amount. It's basically the same as Square Cash. But Snapchat has made this super weird video to promote it. Check it out below:

I don't know about the service, but I think the video is funny as hell. The service is restricted to US users at the moment, but what do you think about it?

What I wonder is how SnapChat can make money from these transactions. =S

Good question. I wonder if they don't make anything from the transactions themselves but just from the regular app usage like sending pictures. Could just be another way to get more app downloads. Probably not though.
