Don't know if you can run 2 or more anti-virus programs in a smartphone.
But why would you want to?
Avast is the best! You don't need any other!
As far as Lookout!
That's a Google app. And they use it to sneak unwanted updates into your device.
I would stay away from that one!

You can run an AVG together with an anti-malware product in most cases. But still, Avast is a good AVG. I don't think that you need another one. Because it will cause the speed of performance. If you are using your phone with a little bit caring like only download application of your default app store, you don't have to worry.

Yes, you can use two apps at the same time but they usually tend to conflict one another. Most importantly make sure to download them from official sources. Pro tips is majority of users don't need antivirus apps on their phone unless they visit potentially harmful sites.

I don't see it as necessary, but I do use Avast (free version) for it's anti-theft part and call blocker. But there are other apps that offer much the same.

Why using an antivirus on Android, the software has his own protection and if you download apps only from google play store then you don't have any worries. Just use add blocker on your search browser and you are free.

The short answer is yes you can, but you definitely shouldn’t run them at the same time. (IMO, Nothing is going to happen except for the fact that you will lose space, the phone will work slowly, and will get a lot of notifications.)
In-depth, I do not understand that you are worried about antivirus apps on Android? My personal advice, don't install them and trust the Google security updates. They will release security patches to solve the problems. In addition, make sure to upgrade your devices.

Generally, you don't need an antivirus for your antivirus. However, malware cannot be ignored so one can have any antivirus app that adds an extra layer of security.

That is dependent on how people think. Some individuals believe that we must use two or more antivirus programs to secure our devices, while others, such as myself, believe that we can protect our devices with just one antivirus. I usually use 360 Security because it is a great tool that is also completely free with ad support.

Hi JD,
Regarding your question, it's generally not recommended to run multiple antivirus apps on an Android phone simultaneously. This can cause conflicts, slow down your device, and even lead to false positives. Instead, choose one reliable antivirus app like Avast, AVG, or Lookout, and stick with it.
By the way, have you considered securing your online activities with a VPN? PureVPN is offering an incredible Black Friday deal - 5 years for just $1.99/m (85% off)! You can protect up to 10 devices, including your Android phone, with 6000+ servers in 90+ countries. Use promo code BF10 for an additional 10% discount. Don't miss out!
