How to add contacts to WhatsApp

can't download it on my Prestigio Multipad (

yeah always having problem adding contacts in whatsapp. tricky.

It really helps. The team at Facebook should make this app more user friendly.

My phone numbers are all saved on my Google-account, so I don't have problems with my contacts on WhatsApps... I only have to refresh my list, but you surely have helped a lot of people.

You can not add contacts to whatsapp, I mean there is no special way to do it, simply just add the contact in your device and whatsapp will automatically detect it and add it to your contact list.

There is no need to add it separately, just add them to contacts & it will automatically detect the number & it will be added to whats app list. Note: the person should be active on whats app.

ya, much helpful. Many of us face this issue.

You have to add the contact in your phonebook first and then open Whatsapp, and click ADD, then find the contact number you want to add to your Whatsapp. try it, hope it helps

adding contacts to WhatsApp is really tricky thanks for the post, what I do is add a contact to your phonebook with the proper city and country code like adding 00 before it, then launch WhatsApp and refresh the contact list of you've done everything correct then that contact will be shown on your wWhatsAppcontact list

3. Open the WhatsApp app, go to the Contacts tab, and search the contact which you saved and start the chat.

I also stuck in the same problem means my friends numbers are already in my contact list but when i open what's app there is nothing as well as no option to synchronize it. After reading your post i found that my contact are in SIM card instead of phone. It may be solution of the problem which i am facing using whats app. Thanks dude....

Actually, just "Refresh" button allows us to add the contacts to WhatsApp from the phone's address book. I usually fix with this method but I have wondered how to add if the contacts are from other countries. Luckily, I solved with searching on Google.

3. Tap the box with a pencil.
4. Tap New Contact.
5. Type in the person's first name.
6. Tap add a phone.
7. Type in your contact's phone number.

whatsapp has less features when compared to zewhatsapp .....zewhatsapp has 40 more extra feature than normal whatsapp ...check it ones....
