The eagerly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S9 is promising, and we’re already getting hints at what new features we can expect. Ahead of its unveiling at Unpacked on February 25, we wanted to find out what you, our readers want to see from the new flagship.

The features you want

In first place with 24 percent of the votes, was the in display fingerprint sensor. Although this kind of technology is nothing new, it's definitely exciting to see the development of the first smartphones with on-screen sensors, and perhaps Samsung will follow suit. It’s understandable why this received so many votes, as unlocking your phone in a second by simply touching the screen is a pretty cool feature.

A close second was affordable price.Of course, we all want a great deal when upgrading to the newest, shiniest smartphone, but is this a realistic wish? If it’s anything like the Galaxy S8, we can expect the phone to be on the market for around $900.

Here's how the rest of them scored:

We also saw some other suggestions in the comments. Two of our readers mentioned that they would still prefer a flat screen. As you probably know, Samsung’s top Galaxy smartphones only have curved screens, and many people are reluctant to accept this change.

What do you think of the results?

More convenient location of the fingerprint scanner than the current S8 and S8 Plus models.

Some images of the future S9 was shown on the internet yesterday, and the phone seems to have thicker borders than the S8,as Samsung must have learnt from the Fragile corners on the S8 and people breaking there screens, that been the only problem with the Edge screens, there not strong enough to withstand banging on the corners,as not everyone buys a tempered glass screen protector to protect there screens plus its been very hard to find a screen protector that fits on the Edge screens and sticks fully down on the screens,as i have bought loads for my S8 Plus,Samsung seems to be Improving the cameras on the S9 models and at last stereo speakers, the pricing of the S9 will make me decide if its worth buying as my S8 Plus as been a Brilliant phone, and with it being early 2018,someone might release a more affordable phone with better features

Flat screen and removable battery I would buy it. As they are now no way. I will stick to my Note 4 and newly acquired V20 as long as I can

I would like to see a larger battery. I love the idea of the duel camera setup & 6gb's & 128gb's of storage. My wife & myself owned two s7 edges so we really don't mind the curved display. The curve on my s8+ is less pronounced & presents no problem. Looking forward to the 9plus!
