Price and offers: How to buy the Z Fold 4

Short and sweet: the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will go on sale on August 26, 2022, at prices starting at $1,799. However, the smartphone is already available for pre-order directly after the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10. If you want to buy it, you first have to decide on a model:

If these prices are too high for a one-time purchase, you can also opt for a contract. You will probably have to pay a down payment, and the remaining costs can be paid monthly.

Once financing and model selection are off the table, you only have to decide on a color. All color variants differ slightly from those of the predecessor series. Samsung draws attention to this with new names—you have to choose between Graygreen, Phantom Black, Beige and the online shop-exclusive color Burgundy for the Z Fold 4.

Opened up, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 offers a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with an under-display camera and adaptive refresh rate between 1 hertz and 120 hertz. When folded, you have to be content with only 6.2 inches, which also refreshes at up to 120 hertz.

The Z Fold 4 is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the most powerful Android processor at launch. You can see the non-expandable storage variants further up in the article, but a maximum of 1 terabyte of internal storage and 12 gigabytes of internal storage are included.

Samsung has given the camera setup minor updates. The main camera now has a resolution of 50 megapixels, and telephoto and ultra-wide-angle cameras with 12 megapixels each are available as alternatives. For selfies, there is an under-display camera with 4 megapixels and a 10 MP camera on the closed front.
