Issue: I noticed that the same app runs slightly slower when installed via APK compared to the Play Store version.
Details:

No changes were made between the two versions.
The APK version sometimes lags on older devices.
Could this be due to the Play Store optimizing apps differently?
Has anyone experienced this, and is there a way to improve APK performance?

When you install an app via the Play Store, Google uses a process called “app optimization” through tools like App Bundles and dynamic delivery. This means the Play Store can serve a version of the app that’s tailored for the device's architecture and screen density, which can improve performance and reduce resource usage.

I don't think Play Store vs. Direct APK Installation will result in any performance difference, as long as that the apk file is an official release and the app version from apk file is the same as one from Google Play Store. App performance and size optimization should be done in the development phase in Android Studio.

Download size < 0.12 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.
