I managed to wear the charging port on my samsung J5 as I use it in the truck as a satnav and taking pics for work. Now got an A10 model.
I was thinking it would be worthwhile having a micro USB angled adapter in the phone port permanently to reduce wear. I bought an adapter with short length of cable and thought great only to discover it is OTG (and that is for a keyboard and similar). But when put in the charging port does not allow charging from a mains charger. Perhaps a remote charger works.
How can I get a non OTG adapter.... some of the retailers on ebay don't know whether their item is OTG or not.
