My Note 5 when charging powered on show will 100% charge, but if I turn it off and plug it back into the charger it shows 88% and then continues to charge to 100%. Anyone know how to fix this. I have tried clearing the Cache in recovery mode to no help.

It must be battery failure. You'd better contact a customer service center for help.

I am currently having the same sort of problem when I restart the phone the battery decreases to xyz%
I guess this is because the battery is not upto the mark as it used to be; obviously it is one old phone now I have it for the past 3 years. And also some of the chargers are not giving fast charging to it where as some are, my phone's fast charging feature is bugged or the chargers are?
