I wonder if anyone has run in to this problem. I have a Lenovo tablet running Android Marshmallow that will update every app except for Google ones. Then I get an unable to update message. The ones that I have sitting waiting right now are Google Calendar, Google Earth, Street View, YouTube, Google Drive etc. Like I said I have no problem updating any other app, it is only Google owned apps that will download but not update.

I heard a few months ago that Google is only updating thier apps through a WiFi signal!
So if your trying to update through your carrier signal that might be the reason!

Just had a idea!
How old is your Lenovo tablet?
It could be that these updates are a new version of the app, and are to advanced to work in your tablet (incompatible for your device).
And that might be why the updates won't install!

Try a Factory Reset. But be careful to back up your already installed apps.

A very rare scenario but when such cases happen, you may need to factory reset your device back to its original state, it has helped me a lot, but first backup up your device

Another possibility.
Google has a nasty habit of discontinuing support of older model devices.
This could be the case here!

So I had the same problem, it took me several days to search for the solutions. Have you solved it?
