Hello all,
Can u help.me I need to transfer my chat hisptory from Samsung note 3 to oneplus 6t. All the mentioned ways i have tried like oneplus switch, copying database file from one phone to other & gmail.drive back up too. Anyone have anyohter idea or know anything plz give input Thanks

Copy your files from your old phone in a external hard drive, then install them on your new phone!
You can do this with your home PC, or laptop or a thumbnail drive.

Sorry I didn't notice that your chat history was in WhatsApp!
I'm afraid I can't give you a solution.
You see since Facebook purchased WhatsApp it has had so many problems , they are impossible to count.
Facebook purchased WhatsApp to eliminate their competition. And now they are really messing it up so users will become frustrated and go back to using Facebook. And just recently they sent out a letter informing the WhatsApp Plus account holders that they are shutting down all the plus accounts.
Good luck getting getting your chat history transferred.
I'm surprised it hasn't been deleted allready!

You can back up your WhatsApp data using Google Drive or a local backup. WhatsApp will ask you to restore your chats and media from a backup once you verify your number. Simply tap RESTORE when prompted to.

Before you get rid of your old phone go into whatsapp setting and back up everything. I did it from my Huawei to 6T.. Worked a treat👍
