Samsung Galaxy S5 — WhatsApp stopped

Does anyone know why my WhatsApp has stopped working on my Samsun Galaxy 5.

Also not sure if this is linked but I don't have google play on the phone, though I do have an "Galaxy Apps" app. In Galaxy Apps I cant find it in the search function.

Get the latest version of whatsapp from google play store or its official website, then reinstall it.
