Hello,
I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablet and the home screen is black with the icons and when I choose a new wallpaper it doesn't show, it will show as a 1/8 strip at the top only. Is there something wrong with my tablet, I really don't like that background always being black.

Just a idea!
Did you check your home screen settings?
I don't know much about your tablet, but it seems to me that you might have your wallpaper feature turned off!
You might also check your wallpaper themes and see if that black screen has been marked as your default screen!

Another idea!
Some wallpaper themes are free, some will have additional charges!
If the new wallpaper you have selected has a fee on it it will not be displayed untill you have made payment arrangements.
