My phone dropped on water, should I take it on a plane ?

Hello, my phone recently dropped on water, it wasn't working but after drying it and force charging it, it came back to life, however:
-The power button doesn't work,
-The screen lights itself randomly,
-Sometimes after using it a lot, the phone temperature is kinda hot.
I have a flight in few days, should I consider buying a new phone instead of using my damaged one onboard, because of the possibilty of having a battery failure ?
