Motorola Moto E — Rooting / HDMI cable size i need

Hi first question I have a Motorola G4 Android 7. 1.1 phone that I want to hook up to my JVC TV so I can watch what's on my phone on my TV my question is what cable do I need? I know what I need for the HDMI side to plug into the TV what size do I need to plug into my Android phone? in other words how many pins are in my Android phone charger where it connects to my phone? If I could just get a HDMI model number for the appropriate cables that would be great. My second question is how do I root my Android Moto E4 7.1.1? I have tried several different ways none of them involving the PC is there a way to do it without PC or do I have to use a computer? Please help my hands are tied thank you

I had a feeling and i suppose no adapter exists to get around that? Thanks 4 your help
