can't figure out how to access 64gb sd card

I have a samsung galaxy 10.1 tablet and just added a 64gb micro sd card. The problem is that I can't figure out how to get the device to recognize the new card. I go to settings and both storage and memory show less than2 gb. What to do?

Try formatting your sd card as FAT32 and inserting it in the tab when it is off, then boot up the tablet.

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.
