Make an app over a game

Hi everyone! ;)

Is it possible to make an app over a game? For an example if there is game, which is not mine, and i would like to make an app which would allow players who are playing that game to send a short voice message to the opponent which also has the app. If it is possible, then would there be any restrictions for me? Would i need a special permission from game owners?

Hi,

It is already possible, for example the excellent Samsung Galaxy S7 has a feature called. "Game Tools" this places a floating button which when pressed opens to a semicircular virtual buttons - screenshot - record screen - turn on/off home button or recent apps/back button - share.

I would presume that there will be similar apps which you can download - app permissions are specific to the needs of the app. If it requires access to the SD card or internal memory to save screenshots or recording of the screen then you would have to grant said permission.
