OK google says offline

my google ok just says there's no connection and that's about it it was working fine a few weeks ago and always work wether i was using wifi or cellular connection now it doesn't ....

Make sure location is on and date/time are correct
Disable power saving mode
Clear Google Cache from settings
Disable "Optimize Battery Usage"

Had the same problem . Just got it to work. I cleared my data ,cache and reloaded Google app then I reset my Wi-Fi from settings and I was back in business . Good Luck
