Is model number important to root ?

Hi,

I'm looking to root some Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablets.
Is a rom that will root one device, usable for different model numbers ?

Like can I root a Samsung Tab 3 SM-T110, SM-T111, SM-T116 with the same rom ?
Or does each model number needs it own rom ?
Ate there like 'universal rom's', that will root all Tab 3 models, no matter what model it is ?

Hello Mike, welcome to AndroidPIT :)

Please be careful, never use the same Rom for different models, there is a huge risk of making it unusable.

Whenever you search for a Rom make sure to find the correct one for your model. There are no "universal Roms" or something like that, sadly ;)
