Thanks for sharing the guide. What I am currently using is Clashfarmer bot to farm resources. The ClashFarmer version 1.8.19 - RC6 now works with Clash of Clans October 2018 Update which is very great.
I also want to share that some users experiencing issues running Clash Of Clans app on BlueStacks resolved by downloading the recommended MEmu version from Clasfarmer website FAQ. I hope that helps if ever someone got issue on bluestacks.
