Samsung Galaxy S4 mini — Android 4.4.2 <> 4.4.4

Hi all,

A friend of mine has just bought a new Samsung Galaxy S4-mini with Android 4.4.4 installed.
A few questions:
1) He can't find the camera settings (change iso, save pictures to ..., etc...)
2) S-planner, he can't find how to set up an alert at a certain time.
In Android 4.4.2 these things can be found easily using the cog-wheel (settings) that is available but not in 4.4.4.
Any help is welcome.

I had the same issue,as I couldn't see the cog-wheel in camera mode,neither in call mode,or in Videoclp player.
And I was so much concerned about my devicece native capabilities.Therefore,
I asked for a direct diagnose from Samsung,via Smart Tutor App.And the answer was very simple.In Settings,must be checked the Standard mode of use,instead the Simple mode.The Simple mode doesn't show the full functionability for at least 3 bilt-in apps.That's all about that.(cool)
