Hey Kima, there are tools like Dr Wonderfone Share, Recuva which do helps in recovering the deleted files. So, I would say better to try using your luck with it too. But do remember the faster you act over it the chances of getting your data recovered will be much more, although yes we do have a post that discuss about the same try looking How to recover deleted pictures from Android phone.
See if this helps !

Don’t worry, It’s possible to recover deleted photos from Samsung Galaxy S6. if you still hadn’t recovered your deleted photos, according to my experience and your information, I think You just need to use data recovery toolkit from FORecovery which is appropriate for the data recovery of Samsung phone, It can scan your Samsung phone to find your lost photos.
now let me tell you a data recovery steps of this toolkit easily.
First step: Connect your mobile phone and PC
Second step: Select the data types you need to recover
Third step: data scanning
Fourth step: preview your data item and recover them
Read the following article to get more details if you need.
what's more, It may be a little difficult for you to recover your deleted photos if you had used your phone a lot after losing them because they may be overwritten by new data. and I am not sure whether your Samsung could be appropriate for this toolkit.
but I still suggest you to use this toolkit to scan your phone to ensure whether your deleted photos exist or not? if they still exist, then you could recover them, it would just waste you a little time.
Hoping it will work for you and you would recover your deleted photos from Samsung Galaxy. Good luck to you.
I will put the link tomorrow."

Where did you store the photos? If there is a SD card, try RePicvid Free Photo Recovery. If you stored them in internal storage, some Android Recovery would help you.
