help with g mail spam??

hi all my gmail is occasionally sending spam emails to my contacts how do I stop this, there is nothing in my sent box?? update there is a sent email in my outbox from a uk diet website?

Normally that means your email account has been hacked. Change your password and double check where you have/are connected to the internet to ensure you aren't using a wifi phishing source (99% of hackers won't attempt to hack a previously used email account).

+1 to this, change your password asap and use some virus scan program on your device and computer...
