Google Nexus 5 — How to maximize the battery life of your Nexus 5

Hi guys, what do you do to maximize the battery life of your Nexus 5?

I found these tips work:

-charge your phone when the battery life is half full
-charge the device overnight
-only use the charger that came with your Nexus 5

Right now my battery lasts for 1.5 days (when I am not playing Candy Crush) :p

I keep mine on Qi during the day at work, but if I don't charge it at least a bit during the day it won't get me to bed time. But as you can probably imagine, I'm a very heavy user of my phone.

The best battery tip I can give for the Nexus 5 is to keep your screen brightness as low as is comfortable for you and make your screen-out time as short as possible. I use 30 seconds but if I could only handle it on 15 seconds my battery would last heaps longer. Way better than a 2-minute screen timeout anyway!
