Hi all,
I am wondering is there any desktop app that's helpful for managing android smartphone on a computer, like sms backup, data export, install or uninstall apps? I have done a plenty of daily work on my Galaxy S4, so i need to make sure everything is well protected. I found sometimes it's pretty hard to do such tasks on the phone. Any thought or recommendations?

I don't know about managing apps, but I think the Galaxy S4 comes with the Samsung Kies app, which can also be installed on your computer, for backing up and data export.
One of our mods might have a better idea about app management via PC or laptop.

Hmm... are you trying to connect your Android device remotely with the PC or Laptop to backup data, export, install and uninstall apps. Try using Airdroid application available over the Google Play and let me know if that sorts your problem out !
