No release date yet, but 2K Games have announced Sid Meiers's Civilization Revolution 2 is coming to Android.
This is the first time a Civilization game is being built from the ground up for Android, as the first Revolution game was originally released for PC/Mac and then ported, so the UI is being developed purely with touch screens in mind. It once again let's you take control of a famous historical figure in an attempt to build the most powerful empire the world has ever known, waging war, discovering new technologies, negotiating and trading with other Civilizations.
No hardware/software requirements have been announced, but I'm a huge fan of the Civilization series so I'm definitely going to keep up to date with this.
Did anybody play the original?
